A Toast To The 22nd Year To Live.

It soothing to know how much your life can mean to people, and in whatever little way it happens to be. It’s humbling when you realise how much essence (and fragrance) people (can) get from you against the reality that you’re just and still one person who’s trying to figure out life for himself.

Yorùbá say, "eniafe la mo, a ọ mọ ẹni tó fẹ wa". That it's who we love we know, we don't know who loves us.

For some time, I had believed this. But not too recently, experiences have brought me to the realisation that it's not true (well, not absolutely). Because really, not just you knowing the people you love, you can know the people who love you too, and that love you genuinely and sincerely. See ehn, it's really not anything near deep at all.

You see, I'm sleeping this night with my heart full just by knowing how much essence my life has made up until this moment (despite how short it has been); knowing how much light my life beams, and that has served and serves as a lighthouse to people; and knowing that if I happen to breathe my last, it'll be with a smile on my face. That in ways more than I know, I walked through earth and left my prints on it.

But here is the thing. I'm not breathing my last this night, yh? There's more to be done cause as it's said, the reward of good work is more work- to and for the people I lead, the people I represent, the people I serve, and it's all starting now. MORE!

So here’s an invitation (more/less) to join me in this journey of Achieving More. There’s an endless count of possibilities we will achieve, and this in the unforced rhythm of grace. I believe. I know.
So come on. Join in.

Cheers………………………. to More 🥂
