ABOUT THE ADEBISI AMORI LITERARY CONTEST
The Adebisi Amori Literary Contest is named after the erstwhile president of the NSASA-UI Literary and Debating Society, Adebisi Amori, for her ardent work that saw to the revitalization of the Society in 2022.

The contest seeks to unearth and celebrate literary talents that exist within students of Sociology in the University of Ibadan. And so, it cuts across genres including poetry, short story, and essay writing.

This year, in light of the recent occurrences in our nation, and chiefly in relation to the events happening in university campuses as societies in their own way, we are seeking submissions that revolve around radical optimism on and around the theme UNCHARTED: Horizons Beyond Us.

Adebisi Amori. President, NSASA-UI Literary and Debating Society (20/21-21/22 academic sessions)
